Lemari Pelle is an American fashion and editorial photographer with an innate passion for storytelling through the lens. From the bustling streets of New York City and sun-kissed shores of the Caribbean, Lemari’s photography journey began in his senior year of high school. A stylistic choice that defines Lemari’s work is the love for the timeless elegance and versatility of black clothing. He has been featured in publications and brands such as 7 hues and Taji magazine, Gap and Monster Energy affiliates as well as a slew of boutique brands across North America and Europe. Fueled by an insatiable love for travel, Lee has travelled the vibrant landscapes of South America, The Caribbean and Europe with camera in hand. Beyond photography, Lemari is a true multidisciplinary artist whose creativity knows no bounds. A pianist from the impressionable age of 5, music quickly became his first love. Performing extensively, his musical ability afforded him the title of Musical Director and Arranger for an array of ensembles. Both skills intertwined has helped cultivate a true appreciation for the uniqueness and individuality in each subject he photographs. On any given weekend, whether in the Americas or Europe Lemari can be found sporting his black chef’s coat hosting dinner parties for his closest friends and family.
